Hmmm. I had understood that TitanTV got its data from Red Bee. At least that is what they said on a YouTube video they prepared awhile back.

I was only assuming Gracenote because the meta data is exactly the same as Schedules Direct, that is how I was able to write my Titan TV interface to NextPVR. There can't be many services that do this, and I now TVPassport/TV Guide is different.

That appears to have fixed the problem. Many thanks for the quick response.
Out of curiosity... is there a reason why the EPG based upon 8VSB PSIP doesn't include the episode descriptions, as does the EPG based upon Schedules Direct? The broadcast stations are certainly broadcasting it (with the rare exception). Is extracting it more complex than doing so from the Schedules Direct feed? Dave

There are some in the full mux you provided and the descriptions are working here for my own OTA guide but I don't get them for some shows further in the future which is expected. Look at the ETT-/3 in your guide data if you want to research further. It could also be the frequency that your broadcaster sends the ETT. They could focus on the current guide data. If some are missing we would need a full mux. Martin

You can find a fresh TSReader recording at:

What show should I look for and what description?

BTW, going by TSReader, EIT0 through EIT3 are present. As is expected, EIT0 (first 4 hour block) populates essentially immediately. But it doesn't take long for EIT3 to arrive. The ETTs also arrive pretty quickly. I just looked at the ATSC recommended practices and the ETTs are optional but if present should be sent at least once per minute. They appear to be coming much quicker than that.
Descriptions also show up on my TV's EPG. So it appears to me the data is there... just for some reason NextPVR isn't acquiring the descriptions. Dave

Though they are being broadcast, no descriptions WERE showing up. I just looked... and for shows 5 HOURS after the EPG was downloaded... the descriptions ARE present now. That makes no sense to me. It is almost like it ignored ETT0 and ETT1 and only picked up ETT2. BTW, as you might see in the logs, the EPG is scheduled to be downloaded at 7:00am (MDT). But the first EIT data should up for the 5am show, which I'm guessing is when the EIT0 block started. Dave

OK I can duplicate that but the data runs out in one hour.
