You must change the name of the picture to yours. In this case, it's called max.png
It should be a .png, and as close as possible to the size specified in the xml.
Too large a picture, and it chews up memory, too small, and it's blurry. The wrong proportions, and it's stretched or squashed.

I tried to change my picture from a .jpg to a .png but it didn't work for me so I put in the original .jpg picture and it seems to work without any problems.
Does a .jpg chew up more memory than a .png? How do I convert a .jpg to a .png?
Any good graphics program should be able to load your .jpg and save it as a .png
Try IrFanView (it's free still), if you don't have Paintshop pro, or Photoshop.
I suppose a .jpg would work as well, and the picture isn't that large anyhow.
Whatever works
