From the message in your logs, it looks like youre firewall is stopping communication between the client (GBPVR.exe) and the recording servoce (GBPVRRecordingService.exe)

But I allowed it on the firewall when it popped up.

Okay... I have expressly allowed every foreseeable .exe file in the gbpvr folder access to the internet. This time when I right-clicked on the tray icon and hit Update EPG, it actually worked... no more error message.

However, do you think the "Invalid Argument" error was being caused because of this?? The guide updated earlier on too, just not using tray icon. Now that works. The "Invalid Argument..." error pops up when I click the "Live TV" button on the GBPVR main menu.

Can someone help me, I am having the same exact problem. I just set this up with a PVR 150 Hauppauge. In the Config panel, when trying to update the EPG the same error occurs. When I use the tray panel, it says,

Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.

Process id-0xf48 (3912), Thread id=0xd28 (3368)

Click Ok to terminate the application.
Click Cancel to Debug the application.

When I click to debug, it says JIT debugger is not available etc...

Can someone help me? I've attached the log files. I need this up by Wednesday, so if someone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Can you email your zap2it login details to me at support@devnz.com and I'll take a look. Include a link back to this post.

deeznuts, I've logged into http://labs.zap2it.com with your credentials. You havnt added a channel lineup. You need to login and hit the 'Add Lineup' button, and tell zap2it your area code and what broadcaster you use, and enable/disable the channels in your line up.
