nah you cant reconfigure the menus, but ill add that later (im going to have to do a 3.1 release in about a week anyway). the "Music" option should appear in the popup menu, im at uni now and away from the code but the reason it might not be showing up could be
a) you havent specified a playlist directory or
b) there are no .m3u playlists in that directory.

im pretty sure it works fine thou (i havent tested it in a while, but i cant think of anything i changed to effect the playlist feature).

oh and with the PIN stuff being added, i can add the option for "PIN on Delete" like in my videos.

Quote:download the my videos plugin and just extract that folder to the blue skin (the keyboard isnt used anywhere, but i was working off the latest my vids source when i created this plugin and left it there if i needed it in the future).
That fixed it, thanks.

Look, sorry about that, but there wasn't any visible error or anything, there simply wasn't a "My Pictures button". For future reference, in which log should I look for the error spyder40 saw?

gbpvr.exe.log file will always print out the reason why the plugin isnt shown on the main menu (it might be cryptic to the average user, but most plugin developers should be able to figure out what in general has gone wrong).

off course you have to recreate the error, then quit gbpvr and then look in the gbpvr.exe.log file (it gets replaced every time gbpvr is run).

Nope. Kiwi, living abroad. Always like to support home-grown talent, that's why I donated to sub.

step 1. set a playlist directory in the app.
step 2. enter fullscreen/slideshow/random
step 3. hit the popup menu button (default is the "menu"/home key)
step 4. select "Music"
step 5. select a playlist to play
step 6. get drunk and watch the pretty pictures....

I've given up for now my wife has requested me to drop back to version 2 so she can access her playlists while viewing.

Either you and i are looking at two different versions, one with a music/playlist function and one without or i'm just plain too dumb to use this plugin. After a few hours of trying to find a function you make sound so easy i'm admitting to the later.

After hours of fooling with it i did manage to get step 6 down pretty good though. Smile

Well, i found it, sort of. I didn't have a clue there were two (2) different pop up screens. I only found it once so far. most time after starting a slideshow pressing the menu button takes me back to the main menu not to the other pop up screen.

Please at some point can this be put back on the main screen like it is pictured on the wiki, or allow it through a skin. my wife will never find that button.

To be honest it's just way to obscure for the casual user to access.
