This seems to be a problem with Yahoo and the local Dish Network channels. The file yahoo is creating doesn't have all the listings (the last one it downloaded for me was only 277kb and it should be well over a megabyte, probably near 3 or 4mb. This is a known issue with the Yahoo API.

Suggestions include using the Dish Network National listings and mixing them with some analog or other listings and possibly remapping them to work.

Otherwise, you could try one of the scrapers, it probably won't have as much information as this program but should work hopefully.

New version released, 1.1.9 with the following changes:
From 1.1.6 to 1.1.9
* Added on-screen episode number
* Changed to 4 digit channel identifiers
* Fixed the star rating to always have a decimal
* Added option to add the period in the episode number, this makes it work with Video Archive (you may need to check this for iXMLTV). The old default was to have the period!
* Changed to the new original air date format per Schedules Direct. Now <previously-shown start="originalairdate">.
* Added an option to decide how many days must pass until a show is considered a repeat (default is 6)
* Removed original air date from <date> field (unless its a movie)

Does anyone know if this is needed for iXMLTV?

Mind if I ask why this change was made? I'm not saying I disagree, just that I don't understand the impact of making it.

It has been agreed upon by the Myth/XMLTv guys that the original air date belongs in the <previously-shown> tag. The <date> tag should be used for the copyright date.

Just for background information (I'm working from memory - don't have my output files as I post this):
I first tried out iXMLTV on version 1.1.6 of YAP2XML - it seemed to work fine. I only ran it once, however, before seeing that 1.1.9 was available (congrats on the rapid improvements). I then tried it with version 1.1.9 of YAP2XML with the period turned on and got an iXMLTV error (#53 IIRC) reported in the iXMLTV log. I also noticed that in the iXMLTV log there are three output reports (movies, repeats and something else) and only one of them showed any output for 1.1.9 while 1.1.6 was showing output in all three. I went back to 1.1.6 until I track down what I'm seeing. I probably just needed to change a setting somewhere, but if anyone uses iXMLTV with 1.1.9 of YAPI2XML, they should check the iXMLTV log file for any errors.

I can't actually recall if I tried 1.1.9 with the period option turned off - I should have, but I was busy doing something else and may have forgotten.

You would have to ask Yahoo. They currently don't have data for Canada or for US OTA.

New version released including the following exciting features:
* New show marker
* Channel remapper
* No more duplicate channel issues.

This means YApi2XML works for OTA now.

http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Utility/YApi2XML

From 1.1.9 to 1.2.0
* Changed duplicate channels message to tell you channel numbers
* Rearranged GUI for new options
* Completely revamped how channel lineups are saved
* Redid duplicate channel handling
* Added the ability to view current settings and change them without going through the entire process again
* Changed the ini file name (to make sure you redo the setup)
* Added a built in channel remapper (great for OTA)
* Added new show marker (*) defaults to new if no original air date exists
