PVR150 Timestamp issue - new drivers.

Well, I have just installed the latest dvrs (7.3.0.26198) for my HVR2200 and find that it now records analogue with no timestamp errors. I have 18 out of 18 successes, including four with my worst channel (low frequ).

I have also been trying to get a better signal feed as the low frequ was grainy but I really haven't done anything of great significance. But, maybe, something has changed for the better in this area.

So, I can't be sure that the dvrs are the only reason for MUCH improved reliability, but I am hoping for prolonged success!

It's in Device Manager under Sound, video and games controllers.

Hi

I have the nova-t 500 and i think i am getting timestamp issues. I load my recordings into TS packet editor and they all say the correct total time but when i try to skip past the first 17 minutes i get "could not find timestamps". It is like that for all of my recordings so far, scrolling past 17 minutes gives the error and then you can't scroll anywhere else. Has anyone else had this issue with the nova-t cards and solved it?

You wont be having the type of problem discussed in this thread. It related to the analog hardware encoder generating a bad timeline.

When you do a digital recording, neither the drivers or the app generate a time line.

Its probably just some bug in your TS packet editor.

Is there a tool out there that i can use to check my h264 .ts files to make sure they are ok?

I dont know.

.ts recordings from broadcast TV is usually ok though, since its pretty much just a dump of the data stream broadcast by the broadcaster.
