I can't get TV listings 2.5 to work with Community Skin 3. It works with the Blue skin but not with CS3. So I'm thinking this is a skin issue. I've installed the files from CS3/TV Listings Update but it still crashes. I get an exception: Object reference not set to instance of Object. I've also tried re-installing the TV Listings Plugin followed by the TV Listings update for CS3. Same problem. The last thing in the details was GetRenderList(). I am using GBPVR version 1.2.13 on XP MCE and I've attached my logs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wakalaka,
I've got TV Listings to work with multiple lineups. I'm not using IXMLTV. In Configure/Capture Sources/Edit Recording Source/EPG Source Settings, I set username to my SchedulesDirect username followed by a semicolon followed by the lineup identifier from SchedulesDirect. I got the SchedulesDirect lineup identifier from the URL in the edit lineup web page at SchedulesDirect. The lineup identifier is the part after your user name in the URL. For the password I used my SchedulesDirect password. The Username must be entered in all lower case in the GBPVR Configuration. Then you can create your custom lineups in Configuration/Plugins/TVListings/Settings/Guides. Once you have multiple lineups configured, you use Control-Y to toggle through the lineups in the TVListings plugin in GBPVR. I don't have the exact format of the SchedulesDirect URL. It appears SchedulesDirect is down at the moment.
By the way, I could not get the TV Listings plugin to work with the Community Skin. It does appear to work with the Blue skin. Perhaps someone could add some of this to the Wiki page for TV Listings.

it seems that the skin you're using is pointing to a file at the location
"C:\Program Files\GBPVR\skin2\Community3\TV Listings\programme_left.png", which can't be found. Try to copy the missing images from the "skin2\blue\tv listings\" folder to "skin2\Community3\TV Listings\" - or wait until your skin officially supports the version of the plugin you're using.

I've just uploaded a new release at the wiki that allows you to draw the programmes as in previous releases. You can enable it with a parameter named "legacyMode" in the listings node of the main skin.xml file.

Thanks, I'll have a look.

"0" is for the first lineup, "1" is for the second.

alibert,
Thanks so much. I copied all the programme_*.png to the CS3 folder and that worked fine.

please zip and attach your gbpvr database (gbpvr.db3) and I'll have a look.

My file appears to be too big to send, however on a positive note, I'm not getting the error anymore. I'll repost with a smaller db if it ever pops up again.

Thanks

Hi,

I'm in the UK.

I'm using Alan Birtles xmltv
http://www.birtles.org.uk/xmltv/
to grab the radio times listings

I was using UltraXMLTV_Enhancer to put more information into the listings.
I then saw TV Listing could display pictures so I added Wizimagegrabber in postupdateepg.bat for images where available.

I then saw TV Listing could display stars so I tried using xmltvextras to put the stars onto TV Listing but it doesn't appear to work.

Can you give me some help?

Thanks
Alan

Works great, thanks. Now I just have to decide which I like better, the legacy colors or the arrow images.Big Grin

Thanks for you support.
