New XMLTV Enhancer and more...

Ok, downloaded new version, ran it but I still get NO regsetting file.

Here is what I get for logs:

I can't tell 100% if it's working (because I'm at work and can't get gbpvr to be viewed remotely via VNC), but when I went to the web module it showed no change.

I've added a little something to logging to help with knowing if you are commited or not...

Zehd-Love the replacement ability (was having a problem with M*A*S*H, but can fix it easily with this
Seems that a different problem has emerged when using shows with "&" in the title. When I pull up the Config Episodes tab and enter "Law & Order" et, al - two things happen:

1) The program states 'Exact match for TVdb.com...', but no episodes appear in the drop-down.

2) The enhancer creates files (in the TVdbXML folder) named "Law andamp; Order.series", "Law andamp; Order.episodes" and "Law andamp; Order.wrong.data". (rather than "Law & Order. series", etc.

It won't apply the episodes in the final yapixml.xml. I'm assuming it's because of the newly created/incorrect filenames.

Ummm yeah. I was having that problem last night, and I thought I fixed it (three times I thught that) before I released the latest fix. Maybe you grabbed a copy just before I snuck a new build up online (and didn't change build numbers...)

Actually, I grabbed it this morning. But just to be sure, I deleted all files on my system referencing the enhancer (except some older zips - each renamed to reflect the corresponding version number) and downloaded the latest from the Wiki page. Then i used the RemoveSettings.reg and ran it again. Still get the same issue. If no one else is having this problem, then it must be something I'm doing wrong.

I won't get a chance to check till later tonigh, though.

It's not broken. It's something like, the date can't be in two places at one time. I have been prepending the 'Previously-shown' date tag to the description, and selected the 'Date' tag to append to title for Movies.

Especially with Schedules Direct, it seems redundant redundant, but there are both tags almost always there..

But. I think I will change that feature back so that it can be in two places at once. Check back later...

Ok, it helps to understand the use-a-tag-in-only-one-place idea. I'm happy with using the date field for movies and the prev-shown-date for all other. They seem to be almost identical. Using prepend-the-desc for the prev-shown-date tag resolves my concern. Thx!

I should point out, that if you're following this thread you should always keep really up to date with the releases, and don't think 'if it ain't broke don't fix it...'

There have been some cases that as I have fixed one thing, I have broken another, and so it would help to have those things pointed out.

(I'm not trying to do that on purpose, promise!)

Ok, I wasn't choosing credits, that's why it didn't show up in the log. However, now I chose it and I still get nothing..just plain old tv guide and not enhanced.
