The server seems to be streaming at ~ 50Mbps but nothing is played. X-Newa weblient works on my RPI so it shouldn't be firewall issues.
I suppose username/password isn't used?

odin Wrote:That's the problem. I can't exit the app. I have to go back to the TV/Guide etc. Then, when I select the app again in the smart hub, it goes back to the same place (selects TV Guide) and left/right buttons don't work.

I'll help debug if necessary.

Some hints...
The app connects to the same instance of NextPVR every time, explaining why you end up in the same place.
Every keypress on the remote should result in a row in web.log (found in the NextPVR logs folder).

You may restart the NextPVR recording service and you will get a new instance of the client.

No, no user name. You may try to power cycle the TV unless you haven't done so already.
Are you trying to watch a recording or live TV? I've found live TV less realiable.

Try going into settings and set all options that apply to Off.
Also try switching to Streaming option /Live - it may work.
In web.log are there any signs of chunks of bytes sent to the client?

I haven't heard of such but there is always the possibilty that player of your TV doesn't support the fileformat you're trying to play.
Does it play using dlna?

I've got no clue what is going on. If the file plays i XNEWA I guess no more configuration on the server side is needed.
Try play a .mp4 file and see what happens.
You may also try to update to version 0.27.0, not that I think it will make any difference.

Sorry, the log doesn't tell me much except there seem to be some (internal?) communication problems.

Hopefully someone else can decode the log and give us a hint to what is happening.

Is there a specific version of Newa/NPVR that you are expecting your app to be linked to?
