Weather plugin hangs retrieving forcast info

I did the RAR and zip thing and got it working.

I do not however get SI units - see error below.

Yes. The problem was that MSNBC changed the header for the detailed forecast from "Detailed forecast" to "Detailed weather forecast", so the plug-in could not find the detailed forecast on the page. I just use winzip to create the file; I wonder why so many people have trouble with it.

The "Details" button seems to be gone from the weather plugin in this version. At least, it doesn't seem to be there for me.:confused:

What skin are you using?

On my pc I use the default skin. I just checked, and the detail button is working there. On my MVP, I use Flat Blue High Vis, and the detail button is missing there.

I hve the same units problem. I looked at the msn site but olso on their page the units conversion is incomplete. Maybe something there?

Hi there.

I can´t get the extended skin working. When I replace the old skin file with the extended one there´s no skin available at all. And when I just add the new file to the skin folder, gbpvr uses the old one.
Any hints?

Downloaded latest from Wiki. Ran setup....states it installed....still getting message that it is downloading information but never does. Here is excerpt from log file.

Not sure why, but as I stated in earlier post...did not work after downloading and installing latest from WIKI (stated version 4 .0 installation was successful..but when I went to use...still stuck on downloading screen). Tried zip file in this thread, stated version 4.0 installation was successful, and it now works??? Thanks for a great plugin...not sure why the WIKI update didn't work...could have been me I guess.:confused:
