no i didnt know that...why is that. so next question would be any plugin to tie live tv to kick in a dvb 3rd party software app then

DISH transmit encrypted video signals. The Nova-S will only receive Free To Air non-encrypted video.

I am a first time GBPVR user and was trying to configure it last night. I was also getting a pop window displaying an error which said something like "The field is too small to accept the amount of data you attempted to add. Try inserting or pasting less data". After reading a few threads, I tried to remove duplicates, but that didn't work. I then edited my lineup by unselected all channels then choosing only one, but the problem persists.

Here is my setup:
PVR-150
DishNetwork
Location: New York
My Zap2it subscription is brand new and contains only 1 line-up

Any help is greatly appreciated!

make sure you have a account for each option...like one account for pvr150 if its using cable and one account for dishnetwork if using dvb and as for my nova-s it recives a fair amount of channels is there anyway to see if theres a plugin that would fire up a 3rd party app like progdvb to use

There is nothing built in that will do this, but the External Recorder plugin might do what you want - I've never used it though, so dont know for sure.

You'd be able to receive any FTA DVB-S channels in GB-PVR, just not encrypted ones.
