Calendar plugin v0.6 available on the wiki.

Changes include:
  • Add up/down scroll to change month in additon to page up/down.
  • Can now apply 'time offsets' to calendar data.

If you are having problems with displayed times being out you can set a 'time offset' for each calendar. For example in fatman_do's case set the offset to -4 and the plugin will apply this to all times loaded from the iCal file.

Brilliant and simple solution. Love those the most.

Thanks Smile.

Of course, it falls over if a calendar has multiple timezones...

Good point, didnt consider that! Rolleyes

What options are there for using the VAPanel on the front page so todays reminders appear?

Not sure, will have to look into how VAPanel works first.

Is there someone who has experiance with the remoteCalendars application at sourceforce.net. This application sync outlook 2003 with the google calendar. Then it is possible (i hope) to sync the google calendar with the calendar plugin.

Maybe it is possible to sync with the remoteCalendars application to a local file.

Hope someone can help me with this one?

Havnt looked into remoteCalandars but you can setup the plugin to look at your google calendars ical feed. Note the Calendar plugin is view only so no need to "sync".

McbainUK,

Thanks for you're quick response. The maingoal is to put my appointments from outlook 2003 on my GBPVR machine in the calendar plugin so i can see them on my TV in GBPVR. I think that the only way is

outlook2003 --> google calendar --> Calendar plugin

The only way to do that is with the RemoteCalender tool (I Think) if someone know another more simple way please let me know or know if it is possible without the google calendar.

ive messed around with the remotecalendar application in the past. Ive just loaded it up and tried editing the 'publishing calendar url' (from the popup box accessed by the 'Publish an iCalendar' button on the Remotecalender toolbar) and put a local path in and it seemed to work fine. it created the ics file in the correct local folder anyways. give it a try and then point the Calendar plugin at the ics file. you might not need Google calendar.
