please send me the skin.xml file and your skinedit.log file. i'll check it out.

It would be nice if it didn't.

It also "Broke" the calendar (beta) skin by making this line:
<MonthlyViewHorSpacing>70</MonthlyViewHorSpacing>

look like:

<MonthlyViewHorSpacing />
yes, i know, i didn't think that there are skins that using this type of data...
it will be fixed soon.

remove the "<?xml version="1.0"?>" tag from the xml and it will work.

one more thing:
save the modified xml in a different file. then add the remark:
<!--
callerFields.Add("@time", DateTime.Now.ToShortTimeString() );
callerFields.Add("@imagefilename", "c:\\555-1212.jpg" );
callerFields.Add("@name", _name );
callerFields.Add("@number
-->
under the "<CompositeImage name="Caller" size="460,80">" tag, from the original file.
(the skinedit software removes all off the remarks in the saved file)

Small fixes and improvments:
1. Doesn't strip values from elements (e.g. "<Version>5.0</Version>" does'nt became to "<Version/>")
2. SpecialElement has size and location attributes, and can be displayed as a box with an X.
3. DrawTextWithOutline can be displayed like normal text, but it will be saved as outlined text.

TODO NEXT:
1. fix bug: all comments are striped out from the xml.
2. size and location changing using drag&drop with the mouse.

For all SkinEdit familiars!
Now you can resize and move elements in the skin using mouse drag & move operations! just like you wanted...
have a try... and tell me about it...

I would like to hear any other suggestions of imporvments, bugs detected, and whatever you want to say about this software.

Why oh why does it require dotnet 2?
This forces a whole new bunch of problems onto a stable dotnet 1.1 system Sad
You can never have enough tuners!
Pentium Quad / 4Gb Dual Channel RAM / XPSP3 / 2 x PVR-500, PVR-250 / GB-PVR

Don't forget that sub has posted that GBPVR itself is moving to .net 2.0 with the next release, so we are all going to be there soon enough.

because of the development tool - SharpDevelop.
i didn't see any problems using it.
i'll try later (not promising) to convert it to mono and then it will be portable.

download file is attached.

I think the software is now stable & ready to use.
I don't itend to develop it anymore, unless it has bugs or feature requests.
so have fun!
