I've read that link before, and am happy that GB-PVR is ok given that description.

I meant an older version of GBPVR since any TimeZone Class derivations would be wrong because of the compiler bug. It was just a thought.

I'm having this exact same problem. Emptied EPG, then Updated. No luck.....

Time zone is set correctly, and though I have the option checked to update for DST automatically, windows didn't do it.......on any of my three PCs. It always has in the past.

Nah, it wont be that. I dont derive any any classes from TimeZone. I just use TimeZone.CurrentTimeZone. This should dynamically pickup operating system changes to this timezone information.

SUCCESS!

It turns out Microsoft Windows Update is about as smart as some of the rocks in my fish tanks. Despite a DST patch being listed in windows update yesterday it appears as if the patch never actually got installed.

I manually did a Windows Update and lo and behold, the DST patch appears again. A reboot and EPG empty/update later and everything is fine.

Sorry for the trouble. Thanks again for all of the help, guys! Big Grin

Keep up the great work!

I hadn't patched my win2k pc that has GBPVR. The system time was off by 1 hr and so was the tvguide. Here are the steps I followed incase other users find it useful:
1. Download and install the free patch from the link above.
2. Manually correct system time on the PC and reboot.
3. From capture sources screen in GBPVR config, select "complete EPG reload".
4. Edit one capture source and select "Empty EPG". Give it a few secs to complete.
5. Ok out of all screens. This will restart the GBPVR service.
6. Right click GBPVR tray icon and select "update EPG".
Once this is complete, you should have the correct times on tv guide.

I have XP Pro, ran windows update and their was no DST patch.

So I set my windows timezone ahead one hour (from Eastern to Atlantic), then set my windows clock to the right time for my timezone (Eastern), then emptied the EPG and then Updated it.

Now all is well Smile

EDIT: nevermind.....that worked my local PC, but wrecked havoc when accessing via EWA.

So I googled the XP DST patch, ran it, and NOW all is well Smile

If you double click on the date/time on the tray, the window that pops up tells you what timezone and whether you are running daylight time or not. If you aren't running daylight time, then the patch isn't in yet.

Thanks man. See my edit above. Googled the DST patch for XP and after installing that, it's all good.

Here's the link to the XP DST patch:

OK,

I am having the same issue, nothing has helped and here is what I tried.

1. Emptied EPG several times.
2. Verified that my computer is correctly set to the proper Time Zone for me.
3. Emptied EPG, verified that TV Guide was blank. and rebooted. Then I reloaded the EPG.
4. Emptied EPG, verified that TV Guide was blank and then waited overnight for automatic update to refresh the Program Guide.
5. Verified that TV Listing download is correct. I use Zap2It and I downloaded the listing with MyTelly. The data appears correct in that service, so it is not the data input.
6. Emptied the EPG, disabled the TV Guide plugin, restarted the service, verified that TV Guide was gone, and then re-enabled it.

I only have one capture source and one tuner card.
Since the Zap2It data appears to be correct, I think the issue is that emptying the EPG is not really deleting the data from the file. When the new data comes in from Zap2It, the EPG is ignoring the stuff it already has in the file.
What I need to know is where the EPG data is stored. I think I need to nuke that file manually to force the program to really and truly rebuild the EPG data.

I am running version 0.98.13b and the OS is Windows 2000.

Thanks.
