For 77092/Waco DISH:

ERROR: Cannot determine schedule file

Running on Vista. I may try one of the XP machines next.

-Oz- Wrote:Yea, was just gonna say, that's a vb thing. In the final version I'll make sure to make a .msi install that installs that. Here is zhed's fix: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Utili...ftware.zip

Should you have 666 channels?

For Houston is definitely appears that the digital and analog lineup are the same, hmm. This could be a Yahoo problem.
EDIT: This appears to be a problem everywhere. Wonder if Yahoo isn't pulling the lineup for digital at all... grr

Glad someone else is keeping the VB thing alive...

I determined the directtv problem (i think), its not happy with downloading the channel text. it just ends for some reason. I may need some help figuring it out.

I get a legit file with my tucson (85713) cox lookup.

It wouldn’t load my listings either but I'm pretty sure I found what the problem is.
I did a quick search for the "&" character and found a few of them in the xml. Some command characters need to be converted or the update will fail.
These are the good and offending characters that I had noted in my code, and their proper xml conversion format.

' ~!@#$%^*()_+-={}|[]\:'?,./`" == OK!
' & = &
' < = <
' > = >

Here’s a complete list of them, but only the ones I listed above will bomb the update.

I tried it out, Comcast Digital zip code 15642. It says60 some channels found, but only lists the first 35. In the xml file same thing, 35 channels, but there is info for channels up to 099, so the 65ish is probably more correct. I have a ton more channels than that though... But it does look VERY promising!

Hi all. My first post as I always was able to find my answers here by poking about. ;-)

It configured and downloaded just fine here, but when I entered my Wyoming zipcode it gave me choices in Salt Lake City. I picked Bresnan Analog and to my surprise it had my few local TV stations listed.

Question, will this downloaded info contain directors and stars names for searches? I opened up the file and saw no names or movie descriptions but I didn't look that closely.

Keep up the good work all you working on this project!

I picked a different provider with less channels so I could get a smaller file. Now I only get 2 hours of epg on GBPVR Guide on one channel only. For the rest, it only lists the channel name. Here are the raw data and xmltv files it created.
