Had a look at the logs, yes there are some errors at the start, but I found these errors later on:

After applying the Contour Theme, you need to go back into the Skin Plugin and select panels (Blue button on remote or ctrl-b). Turn off the Clock panel and turn on the ML2Panel.

I do see that I should adjust the location some (the RSS feed icon is my quick copy to simulate album art.)

What exactly doesn't work with the Community skin? I would like to fix the problem.

I think it all does, PZ1 was trying to use the Old ContourHC skin. He said the AlbumArt/Visualisations while in the play list screen wasn't appearing.

I did a reinstall of CS 2.2.3, and now the error has gone. I guess there must have been a problem with my disk. It is slow and unreliable lately. I will upgrade to CS 2.2.4 and see how it works. Thanks for offering help as ususal.

This Album art thing is rather typical. Attached a zip with the folder.jpg and three screenshots. As you will see the album art does show up in the ML2 screensaver and in the MP3 properties screen. But it does not show up in the list of tracks that are playing. The strange thing is that some other albums have no problem to show the album art in that list. If I copy the folder.jpg from a 'correct' album to this 'broken' album, the album art still does not show up.

That may be because the track has been read and said to have "no art". To try and sort it, go to the library screen, hit the OK button on a title (not an album or artist), and press control-k (record button).

This forces a re-read of the tag data. If you've done something to add art after it's been read the you will need to do this. Hope fully you done have many tracks....of course you could delete your db as well....

I've just look at your pictures....It doesn't sound like what I described. Can you pass me some more logs, or do the ones you provided today show this?? (without the skin errors).

The album art was indeed added later. I did a total rebuild of the library with no effect.

I just upgraded to Community Skin 2.2.4, restarted everything. I am running this test via a terminal session. What I did:
Selected the album view, album selected, choose one track, add track to queue with ctrl<y>, selected playlist with ctrl<g>. Then stopped GBPVR.
Logs attached.

What you can do, in the config you can export any saved playlists as m3u. And as long as they are in one of your music scan paths, they will be added to the playlist list.

My internal playlist format is pretty basic, I'd problably prefer that people now move to M3U based...

Aha tnx that makes it easier. I will try to edit the exported *.M3U.

Don't get me wrong when I say the program crashes alot. I love your program. It is by far the best available in combination with a MVP. It ssems a bit more unstable with 1.08. Besides that it runs just fine. Messing with playlists etc makes it crash sometimes. This is perfect workaround. I'm not changing that much with a playlist. Smile

Graphics are not that spectaculair on the MVP, to bad... It works and does the job. Maybe I will build a real mediacenter in the future> Maybe I won't because of the noise in the livingroom. Low noise PC is usually high cost. Smile

Now I got a Windows 2003 server who also does the GBPVR. It resides in a cellar closet with a patchpanel. I got cat5e patches in my livingroom and bedroom. So two MVPs is an ideal solution. Hauppauge should make it more graphical so I can also enjoy the new 1.08 Smile

Thanks again and I will keep reading the forum.

I also observe that in 99.12 ML2 is going to hang if you push the MVP yellow button (or ctrl<y> on the PC) a couple of times to save the playlist.
