I was having the same issue using a 32MB GeForce 2 card and swapped in an ATI 9250. Works fine now with only that change.

I'm not getting a picture using PVRX2 either - and I also have a GeForce2 card. I'm hoping there's a solution to the problem other than swapping the card.
I tried the MPV decoder - I was using the Intervideo previously. I went through all the VMRs to no avail. GBPVR still works.

I suspect 32MB is not enough memory on the card for PVRX2.

sub Wrote:I suspect 32MB is not enough memory on the card for PVRX2. I have that feeling as well. My newish GF6200 has 128MB and works properly with the new executable. Also the newer gfx-drivers may have something to do with PVRX2 now working for me, at least one might want to check up on that as well. My former Geforce2 MX/400 had 32M and I had the same problems with PVRX not working for playback. See http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=28582 for more info.

It may be the same issue for me. My graphics card has 128MB of VRAM but it may have to be updated. I will check that out as well and see if it solves the problem for mw when I get back to the pc that has WinTV PVR2 USB2 card installed on it.

Sub, GBPVR.exe does not work when the video renderer is set to VMR9 Custom.

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

I'm not really sure. Nothing stands out in the logs.

All you need to do is update your drivers. Get them here for XP and Win2k for your nvidia based cards.
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_93.71_2.html VMR9 will work after the driver update. Sub, might want to make this part of the survival guide as I am sure there are a lot of nvidia users out there. Ram
