hey web_maven,

I have been thinking along those lines. To build your pvr basically all you need is an empty case... Could be cool to find an old amp case with cooling fins (like the Hush) and see if that and an effective heat sink could do the job. So no noisy fans was needed... I think I will explore this as an serious option.

Had mine in one of the Hoojum Cubit cases, they're really quite cool, thought they deserve a mention, mine has a miniITX motherboard and a PVR 350 stashed in....

Well, I also have not one but two 350 cards, and also wanna know what requirements are the minimum, because I'm trying to probe in an old machine (Pentium III 500 MHz, 128 RAM) and seems to work the worsest from the worst (very bad).

Can somebody recommend minimum requirements?

Thanks and regards

sub recommends at least a 1ghz machine with 256mb ram (minimum recommendation). i think about a 1.6-1.8ghz with 512mb ram is the recommended system specs.

Thanks, that's what I call a fast and useful answer...

Doesn't matter the order of PCI-pluging? I mean about setting "Capture Device #1" or "Capture Device #2".

Regards

if they are both the same devices (eg two 350s) it doesnt matter which device is #1 and which is #2, only matters if you are using two different cards (eg 150 and 350). but they cant have the same device number.
