I have settled on using SearchWizX2_setup_V1.0.11.1.exe

for some reason the lastest version has a menu at the top for filters and I always unknowingly hit that filter menu and it clears my search and it is frustrating when I have over 3,000 entries to look through and schedule and it clears and I have to research and navigate down to find my spot alphabetically.

love the plugin and use it all the time.

cheers!

I added that feature in the last version since I didn't like having to go into another menu to change the filter.

I guess I could make it a config option to turn it into a list or simply a label displaying which filter is in effect (similar to prior versions).

Do you have any other ideas on how to keep it a list but make it easier to use?

That would be great to have the menu option off in config setting so i can use newer versions.

you could maybe place a letter "A" or number "1" somewhere and if you navigate to it and press ok it could bring up the alphabet to quick jump to

a
b
c
d
etc....

not sure if many will use it depending on their guide data.

I get 2 day searches with 2,000 entries and I just did a 5 day search looking for cool shows and there were over 6,000 entries and I managed to find some cool shows and GBPVR is going to record steady for the next few days and about 200 gigs hehe

great plugin! works just like a tv guide at the news stand

cheers!

Ok, I'll add to the TODO list.

Actually, this feature already exists. If you use the keyboard, simply press the key, if you use the remote, use the number buttons like SMS Text entry as follows:

2=a, 22=b, 222=c, 3=d, 33=e, 333=f,...

Also Page (kbd) or Channel (remote) Up/Dn will page the list forward and backward 1 page at a time.

I use the page down on the remote but you gotta remember 3,000+ entries hehe

cheers!
