I've also got one of these cards and I am trying to install GB-PVR for the first time.
But each time I do the 'Map digital channels to EPG channels'. I get a no channels found message.
This is using DVB-T and DVB-S. Both are tuning fine in Vista media center (DVB-T) and DVBviewer(DVB-S).

You can also see TV pics flash up when it is scanning for services, but they do not register for some reason.

Jase, I see you had this problem to begin with, how did you cure it?

Did you remember to disable the media center services? Otherwise it'll be handing on to the devices and they wont work in GB-PVR.

Thanks for the reply sub, I hadn't disabled the services, but i think I have now, i've disabled and stopped:

Windows Media Center Extender Service
Windows Media Center Receiver Service
Windows Media Center Scheduler Service
Windows Media Center Service Launcher

Tried a rescan and still get the no channels found after the scan. Sad are there any services i've missed?

Do a scan then zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I"ll take a look.

Run ReRegisterFilters.bat then try again.

If you're on Vista you'll probably need to run this from a command prompt that is running as administrator.

I have been following this thread trying to get GBPVR working. I have applied the NativeUtilities patch and disabled Media Centre.

When I run the Re-Register Filter batch file it fails with the message "call to DLLRegisterServer Failed with error code 0x80070005". I have ran batch file as administrator, and from command prompt, and always get the same answer.

Can anyone help please.

Thanks

PS I have now managed to run Re-Register Filters.bat. I did this my running from command prompt, in the folders directory, and opened the command prompt in administrator mode. So, I will now try GBPVR again.

I have managed to get one of the DVB-T TUNERS running but gbpvr reports 'unable to start BDA Device' when i try to map digital channelst to the remaining three.

The picture on the tuner I have running is also rather poor with either cyberlinx or ati mux encoders.

Any suggestions please?

thanks
