also, just to note.
i was looking around for setting and i came across the muxchecker.

and i am getting the message,
NO MULTIPLEXER FILTERS WHERE FOUND ON YOUR MACHINE.

but i have SP2 installed, and cyberlink mpeg2 decoder

could that be the culprit?

In the capture source settings, where you set your capture device, there is a Advanced settings button. Click that, then try ticking the 'Ignore PMT CRC errors during scan', then try another scan. I dont know if it'll help, but it might.

there was one guy on the forums that has the same box as mine and got it working with the same setup as mine as well. but it looks like he isnt around anymore because i sent him pms and replied in the thread.

sorry to on about your lnb but have you got access to it to see what is on the sticker (details)

but now we're in the middle of a very big snow storm, about 30 cm
now i think there is about 15 to 20 cm out there...

what do you need to know though? just incase i get the chance to peak through the window...
also, something worth noting, nimiq1 works in mytheatre with the same settings using mytheatre driver

great, now i scan with no singal or quality...

stupid mistake, error in transponder file
but still no channels... signal = 93%, quality = 99%

the sticker on the side of lnb has the frequency etc
im probably wrong but when i first set mine up i had the numbers out by bugger all and it would get signal but never find anything thats why i keep going back to it

i havent used my theatre but was thinking maybe it uses the setting slightly different and can take up the difference if the numbers are slightly out if you get what i mean

i feel like giving up on this one and just using this card for my pc.

ive been looking at the hauppage nova-s-plus card, i figure ill do some reading on that one.

i dont get why it doesnt work though still....

have you tried just loading the driver for it and having no other software on the machine (tv type software im talking)
