Droopy: try the new version and let me know if the 'Capture Card' selection contains any items. If the list is blank then i might have to let up on the filter criteria. (Currently I'm looking for all filters where FilterCategory is VideoInputDevice)

Hello,

Tried to use the wdm software decoder but also received the index error when trying to select live tv. Card was listed in the selection box in the settings. ATI TV Wonder VE. Is there anything I can do to further help testing?

Whoops, I jumped the gun! After updating the EPG data, Live TV now works! Great work!

Great to hear someone else is getting this to work :-)

I'm busy adding an option to record audio from an alternate source (like Line In) for cards that don't support native audio (also my card's drivers are bugy).

Unfortuntly the new mode is less stable :-( and gb-pvr's file reader bitches about the mpeg's I'm generating. I plan to attack it soon and get everything ironed out.

Tried this fix on my card. It's Genie wonder pro (BT848 based). Had to copy that DLL into the root as suggested before it would work. The only problem now is I can't tune the card! Are ths channels set in xmltv?

[Image: sad.gif] I have this loaded and it recognizes my All-In-Wonder Radeon card. I have updated the EPG. When I click on live tv I get the following:

Debug Assertion Failed!

Program: c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\gbpvr.exe

It looks like it is trying to debug via Visual Studio 2003 which I do not have installed on this machine.

this version allows you to select a different audio source for your recording (to help with buggy audio on the video card like the FlyVideos)

Note that LiveTVPreview mode also records the audio so you might want to select different mixer settings for Preview mode versus Record mode. This will be automatic in a near future version.

Jason: Yes, you need to add channels for the capture source. You can either do it via any channel source (like xmltv), but you can also enter them manually.

UncleJohnsBand: Are you using Preview mode? Can you post the end of the log to me? (looking at gbpvr.exe.log and gbpvrrecordingservice.exe.log and maybe gbpvrrecordingservice.exe-native.log)

Just a reminder that you will need a mpeg2 encoder (Moonlight encoder, evaluation version avalible for download from http://www.elecard.com/download/)

Does anyone know if the Moonlight encoder has to be activated? I had used the evaluation version months ago for something else and now when I try to activate it, I can not get an evaluation license.

Has anyone got a different mpeg2 encoder to work? If so which one?

Thanks for the help.
