Newbie in Need of Help: Totally Lost in What Went Wrong!

Unfortunately, this is the bad news, I have no audio. I've tried every decoder listed, including the new one, with the same result. Video looks great though. So, what should I do next?

What audio decoders did you try exactly? The last logs you posted looked like you'd just left it on 'system default'.

I eventually went back to system default when I lost video again, thinking something I was doing in audio affected it. Interestingly, in the Capture Sources screen in the Recording Source settings, when I have it on internal tuner it gives me sound, granted the sound is static. I am guessing this is the correct source. I have my cable coming from the two STBs through coaxil to the 1600 cards. What should I have the source set as?

If you play one of the files recorded by GB-PVR in Windows Media Player, does it have audio?

I'm having a similar problem in that I am getting the same error code.

I can watch live TV using PVRx2. I can record a show. Windows Vista Media Center can play back the files I record using GBPVR. However, when I try to get PVRx2 to play back the file the screen just flashed for a second and returns back to the menu.

I have tried video decoder: Microsoft MPEG-2 Video Decoder and MPEG Video Decoder. I tried installing the freebee ones sub mentioned: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MPV_Decoder.htm, but I just get error codes when trying to add them into VISTA.
