For the most part there is alot possible. I can set it back to the font you provided in blue (arial), no big there really. Otherwise, I really don't know what font is wider.

Are these type of messages being generated in pvrx2.exe.log coming from mlpanel trying to read embedded album art when none exists?

If MLPanel finds no embedded art, it will display a blank image.

Could you recreate the problem and zip and attach your pvrx2.exe.log and your Plugins\MLPanel\Interfaces.dll.log and I'll have a look.

Not quite sure what I'm doing wrong. I installed the plugin. I have the latest of ML2 and pvrx2. I'm using the latest community skin.

Even with the plugin activated, I do not see a menu option for MLPanel. I even tried playing a playlist, the Last Played M3U and do not see it when I escape out of ML2.

Any idea what I could be doing wrong? Thanks!

There can be a conflict between MLPanel and Music Library2 over a file called Interfaces.dll. Can you please reproduce the problem then zip and post your logs and I'll take a look. Also can you do a search in your \Plugins\ folder for Interfaces.dll and let me know how many copies you find and where they are. Thanks

Thanks Smile

interfaces.dll is in the common, mlpanel, and music library 2 directory.
I have tried a variety of things, such as making them all the same interfaces, while preserving the old. Doesn't seem to have a visible impact.

The one in common is timestamped 9 August 2008
MLPanel 30 August 2008
ML2 27 March 2008

Here are my logs. I opened ML2, played the playlst and then went back to the main screen. No MLPanel listed.

Thanks!

Thanks for posting your logs - they show that you are using Community Skin and MLPanel can't find at least one of it's skin files...

Can you copy (not move) the MLPanel folder from Skin2\blue into Skin2\Community3 and see how you get on.

Thanks! That seemed to work. However when it goes into MLPanel mode, it seems to keep the border of the original screen and does not display the album art.

Not sure what you mean by "it seems to keep the border of the original screen" maybe ACTCMS will have some idea or take a screenshot of it & upload it so we can see what you are seeing.

Have you tried pressing the cursor left & right keys (side arrow keys on the remote) there are from memory in this version about seven different views and some views don't show album art?

I have been playing around with this a couple of days now and I think it's a great plugin!
I run it in the Music Library with Community skin and it runs nicely.

After a while one panel is bound to be a favourite, I would like a setting for a default panel. I rearrange the panels placing my favorite as "0", but you have to know a bit XML to do this.

I also had to remove the "C" out of "@DateTimeC" in all places to get it to show the time the way I want it. A setting or a comment how to get different DateTime views would be useful.

I read the discussion on making a slide show. I am not certain I understood that discussion though. But a slide show possibility would be great! Especially if I could select a picture folder and the pictures is shown fullscreen, with the album art and info in the panel on top....
But maybe the pictures will be shown in the panel? As the gbpvr background is shown in some of the panels today. I guess it is possible to create a full screen panel (I have to try that when I get home...).

I have realized that I miss many album covers... I have found a program that search and adds covers to the id3-tag. Is it possible to show these pictures instead or as well as the ones in the folder?
