As well, when I use the TuningAssistant application, and select 950q, it has a similar problem, as GBPVR has. However, the only station that comes in, is channel 5 (which is our cable service provider's custom station for weather/news and standard TV guide listing - I believe standard for most cable companies).

The other stations are all out of whack and do not display properly, showing the scrambled picture.

Can you post of a screenshot of one of these so I can see what you mean?

Here is a screencap of what I see in GBPVR. (see attached)
Channel 5 shows up fine, so I know my system can handle the encoding and decoding no problem.
But any other channel, (in this example I used channel 30) the same screen shows. But it is the same garbled display for all channels, except for station 5.

When using the TuningAssistant, all of the stations above 5 come in fine and it prompts me that it has found the stations.

In WinTV, I can view all of the stations, no problem, from channel 2, upward.

Try viewing one of these garbage channels, then zip and attach the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log and I'll see if anything stands out.

Here are the log files as requested.
(I did a clean sweep of the logs so that it wouldn't be difficult to find the one station I tuned to - 30 for example)

Sorry, I dont really know why its not working. There is no obvious sign of problems in the logs.

how do I reset the frequencies back to their original setup before I changed the frequencies for the 950 (non-q) with the reg file in the beginning of this post?

I dont know, but I think you're right that it could be the cause. I would recommand anyone changes the frequency overrides.

Does anyone have their original factory setting frequencies?
If someone could extract the tree of values for the following root in their registry and post it as a .reg file in a zip file?

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\TV System Services\TVAutoTune\TS0-1
