To be honest I never tried on the MVP, it was garbage on the PCH though. If pbb isn't using mvpmc it would likely really cause problems.

I feel like an idiot. I changed the MVPUseIncrementalUpdates setting to "false", but that wasn't my problem. After making the change and not seeing MLPanel on my menu I remembered that I wasn't using the blue skin any longer on the MVP. I had changed it back to the Community3 Skin. I hadn't copied the MLPanel folder to that skin, just the blue one. After copying the folder into the skin and restarting the service I now have MLPanel on my menu, and the default image (the MVP Remote) is working as my screen saver (yeah!). Thanks so much for putting up with my stupidity. I still want to get it to work with a slide show, so I'll let you know how that goes.

I went back to the documentation, and saw the sentence about putting the plugin folder in the skin folder. Maybe you can make that part standout a little more. It might just be me, but I like a numbered list when following instructions.
