Recurring recordings not picking up all shows

No i havent, but i was hoping that there was a reason why it occasionally will not pick up one show in the series when it seems like everything matches up correctly, especially when the following weeks episode is scheduled to be recorded.

I'm not sure what the reason is but I've had the same issue where a single episode will fail to get scheduled. Usually an EPG empty and reload does the trick.

I've had the same problem for some time now. using zap2xml and no stars or anything in the title. some shows don't get scheduled while others are. even deleting the recurring recording and re-scheduling it won't fix it...

tonight it failed to record Kings and then i see this topic...

If people post some more pvrx2.exe.log files, from after an 'update epg' in the system menu, and details of the shows that are not appearing, then I'll take a look.

Sorry try these logs instead,

Date Friday April 10th either 8pm or 9pm i'm not quite sure what time the show comes on

Show: "Dollhouse" failed to be scheduled

And yes it had a (*) in the epg when i went back to look and see if it was a possible reason for not being scheduled

i've disabled the "duplicate" option so that it should now record all shows and i've reloaded the EPG from the config interface. it's interesting that i had to do it for each source for it to schedule all the shows... nothing is missing now as far as i can see so i'll post some logs when i get the issue again. however i think it's linked to the duplicate option.

Sorry, but those logs dont show the 'update epg' from the system menu that I asked for.

Sorry i unfortunately dont have, and i havent seen another show with this problem yet, will post when one comes up

Try disabling the 'dont record duplicates' for a while. If the problem goes away, then it was likely Schedules Direct was returning incorrect duplicate show identifiers for some airings, or you genuinely had recently recorded that episode or currently have the same episode in your pending/ready list.
