Daveid,
Which Tuner card did you end up getting the hvr1600 or the hvr2250. I am looking for a 1/2 height card for my slim line pc. Was it difficult to set up ? I also have comcast and wanted the 125 analog & HD.

I've got the 1600 with Charter cable and so far I haven't been able to get the digital tuner working at all.

I also have an older 150 in the same machine.

So I'm able to record dual analog signals, but I haven't gotten the digital working. I really wish I could figure it out but I've pretty much given up hope.

I think your problem with the digital is due to Charter not transmitting any channels in the clear. At least here in North Central Washington they have no clear channels. Might be different in your part of the country, but also might be the same. You should be able to get OTA ATSC broadcast channels if you live reasonably close to the transmitters (50 miles, or so?)

Any Charter customers here that get clear QAM?

I did find some posts on some of the local boards that seem to indicate that Charter here in North Carolina does transmit some channels in the clear. I haven't completely given up, but I haven't really put alot of effort into getting it resolved.

Most of the stuff I need GBPVR for is already working. The digital channels were just a perk.
