That's correct too. If you can't see that as Guest on your network from XP and on the fourth icon on the NMT I can't explain why,

I was trying to create a network share on NMT by going to Setup - Network Share - Browse - WORKGROUP - JENNY-PC... when I click on this I get No Content Found.
When I go to Media Source, there are 4 choices HARD_DISK Network Browser JENNY-PC: Jenny: Jenny-PC The thrid takes me into my Windows 7 machine -- this has worked. The 4th is myiHome on my Window 7 machine. So when you say "fourth icon on the NMT" I'm not sure what you mean. On my Win7 laptop, I see it from NMT with Setup - Network Share - Browse - WORKGROUP - BUSINESSLAPTOP -- and from here I see all shares. When I login to the laptop as Jenny, I see all the shares on the Win7 computer but when I login as Guest --- I don't see any. Totally stumped.

When you choose your Win7 mvpmc share as the source via the name or the Network Browser, you will be taken back to the main NMT menu. The fourth icon (rightmost) is the one you use to select GB-PVR.html.

Understood. Problem is I am unable to see the mvpmc share. Looks like I'll need to keep my 1.5 TB drive in the popcorn hour even though I stream everything from my computer...
Thanks so much for your efforts - it seems that there is some Win7 configuration that is wrong. Steve

Really, I have a 100Gig external HD -- does that work with CSI? If so, its a good solution... but I thought with CSI it had to be an internal drive?

I wrote some notes on how to use NMTInstall for a USB drive here.
http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=3...ostcount=4 You can use any USB device, a powered drive is overkill. Martin |
