sub Wrote:Yep, I'm sure that will be the problem. The logs above all show the scan using the 11300/11300/11300 default LNB settings. These are common in New Zealand, but not used in the UK.

You guys need to enter the LNB settings that match the type of LNB you're using.

In UK and Europe universal LNBs are the norm; Like Martin123 said 9750, 11700, 10600 and I can remember it needed changing in GBPVR - all those years ago.

I've modified the next build to default to 9750/11700/10600 outside of New Zealand.

OK...so far I have:

Applied the patch, adjusted the lof settings.

I get a scan crash quite quckly with the compro s350. When I play the channels that have been found, I get a crash after approx 1min of viewing (every time).

The Hauppy lasts longer in the scan, but still crashes. The channel playback is stable if you can get it to scan.

logs attached.

Cheers

Daniel

Can you also post the crash.mdmp file?

Can you see if this helps the crash? If not, post the mdmp again.

Yes, that has stopped the crash. :-) however for some odd reason using the various 28.2 options (Freesat only, Astra2/Eurobird1 or Astra2A/B/D) it doesn't pick up all the channels - notably the BBC HD channel is missing. However I am well impressed that it picks up the timeshares that aren't currently being broadcast.

I was also impressed that after scanning on one card, coming to the other it asked if I wanted to copy the config and not bother scanning again. But I did do a scan on both and both work without crashing, but neither find BBC HD which is very weird. They only find one ITV HD for that matter, but it's one that claims to be encrypted but isn't. So is there an issue for DVB-S H.264 1080i unencrypted channels? It didn't find Luxe HD either now I think of it, so not a single unencrypted DVB-S H264 1080i FTA channel found....

Can you see if this version still doesnt crash? I needed to reenable the code I temporarily in that last patch, but I've made a small change that will hopefully correct the error.

My H.264 channels are showing up just fine, so its not directly related to that. Can you post the npvr.log, and let me know what frequency/sr/polarity BBC HD is supposed to be on?

Here's the FTA HD channels that I had in GBPVR (some renamed by me):

T:11426,H,27500,23~NID:59~ONID:2~TSID:2315~P:10510~V:3401~VTYPE:H264~A:3402~L:eng(AC3):3400~TXT:2353~PCR:3401~N:>ITVHD Red Button
T:10936,V,22000,0~TSID:2056~P:3855~V:512~VTYPE:H264~A:640~PMT:261~E:T~PCR:512~N:>STV HD
T:10936,V,22000,0~TSID:2056~P:3851~V:513~VTYPE:H264~A:641~PMT:257~E:T~PCR:513~N:>ITV1 HD London
T:10832,H,22000,56~NID:32~ONID:2~TSID:2049~P:10001~V:2362~A:2363~L:eng~PMT:288~PCR:2362~N:>ITV1 HD
T:10847,V,22000,56~NID:32~ONID:2~TSID:2050~P:6940~V:5500~VTYPE:H264~A:5501~L:eng(AC3)~PMT:258~TXT:5503~PCR:5500~N:>BBC HD (AC3)
T:12643,H,27500,23~NID:32~ONID:2~TSID:2603~P:54206~V:2316~VTYPE:H264~A:2318~L:eng(AC3):265~PCR:2316~N:>Luxe TV HD

The P:3855 one is the one that claims to be encrypted but isn't and is the only one my scans find, which is odd as the STV HD is on the same transponder.

My Irish H264 DVB-T channels are found just fine though, it's only the DVB-S ones that aren't.

Whatever you did in that patch causes it to instantly BSOD with the skystar2....!

Here's the NVRlog from the scan before the BSOD patch (the scan that missed the H264 channels).
