Thank you sub. It certainly isn't impossible to believe I screwed up. I'm pretty sure that I did select s-video as the input source when setting it up, but I wanted to check and make sure before even noting this problem on the board and I can't figure out how to get back to that screen. Is there anyway to get back to that selection screen in NPVR once done? If not, is there an option to edit the XML file?

Would purging the channels related to the tuner give me a chance to reselect the EPG?

If you go into Settings -> Channels you can select the appropiate channel and click Details-button. Now you should be able to reselect EPG source and mapping.

Thanks. I guess I'll find out about the purge though. I thought I would try selecting them all and selecting Details to see if I could do it all 700 of them at once. I hit Delete instead with my clunky little wireless keyboard. Err! If that didn't work I was going to check Bulk Mapping. I really don't want to individually map a couple hundred channels. I do have an image so I don't have to start over again.

Purging and re-importing the channels does work well enough and I must not have selected S-video. Do wish NPVR would take the channel number from the EPG and not assign them all the highest channel number. Appreciate the help. Thanks.

Most EPG don't have a channel number because it varies from country to country and even from area to area within a country.

This is a bug on my list. I know its made things harder than it needed to be for a few users. Any chance you could zip and attach your xmltv file? The NZ one I've been using for most of my testing doest have channel numbers.

Sorry it took me a while to respond sub. I just tried to upload it. Even zipped it appears to be too large to upload on the forum at 16mb (around 2mb forum limit for zip files). It is roughly 200mb uncompressed.

So you got the Mygica U6012 working on Windows 7, both ATSC/QAM and analog (with SoftPVR)? I'm looking for a cheap capture device and Meritline has this for a decent price. Thanks!
