The snow in Wellington made the ABC national news last night in the US... Pretty amazing.

It must be unusual for you down there - it got in some of the morning papers here in the UK.

They said on the news the other night that it was the first time for show in Wellington city for 35 years. Auckland, a few hundred miles north got it's first snow since 1939.

Yesterday school was closed in my part of the city, so the kids were pretty happy.

Looks awesome! We would love to have a bit of that cool air here. So far we've had 63 days of 100F plus this year... The LOW temp most days has been 80 degrees F.
