Trying to setup a Ceton Infinitv

I too am a noon and trying to set up my Ceton InfiniTV 6 ETH device on Windows 7

Where are you guys placing the NetworkRecorder.xml file?

I don't suppose anyone has done a video of the install/configuration ?

Did you read the wiki http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...rkRecorder It says to copy it into the Plugins\NetworkRecorder folder (where it will go with the dl)

I was able to get one device set up. (The wiki said to start with one)

I can see the populated EPG but trying to watch the show throws a "Unable to find capture device" error

For the moment, I have turned off my firewall and NextPVR Recording Service is running

In SageDCT Config, my ports are:
Ceton Infintv Ethernet (00-80-98-bd) Tuner 1 Port 6972
Ceton Infintv Ethernet (00-80-98-bd) Tuner 2 Port 6970
Ceton Infintv Ethernet (00-80-98-bd) Tuner 3 Port 6990
Ceton Infintv Ethernet (00-80-98-bd) Tuner 4 Port 6979
Ceton Infintv Ethernet (00-80-98-bd) Tuner 5 Port 6975
Ceton Infintv Ethernet (00-80-98-bd) Tuner 6 Port 6984

I have attached my log as well as my NetworkRecorder.xml file

As requested.. I hope I sent you the right sage (DCT) file.. That was the file that was created when I clicked "Generate Assignments". If its not the right one, please let me know what to send

Did you follow the importamt step on the wiki about stopping the recording service? I suggest starting over,

stop the recording service
change NetworkRecorder.xml from

<NetworkRecorder id="21" instance="1">
to
<NetworkRecorder>

You might want to change the FriendlyName to Ceton #1

Then add device in NextPVR and restart the service.

PS that isn't the correct SageDCT log,

I stopped the service, made the change tot he XML but was given an error when I restarted the service. An instance is already running. I stopped it again and checked windows services, I saw NPVR Recording Service status "Starting". Tried rebooting same thing. I uninstalled nextPVR rebooted the service is still there and status "Restarting"

Ok stop the service, rename the NetworkRecorder folder to _NetworkRecorder and restart NextPVR remove any NetworkRecorder devices that are showing and follow those steps again.
