Hi.

I have looked at it to find some useful response, but I really can't figure out what these numbers mean. On the TV and the HDHomeRun TV app the channel numbers are "normal", even though they eventually on the TVs and in NPVR end with channel 892. Optional and encrypted channels are in the lower segment (at least some of them).

Actually - looking at them - it seems to be SD versions of some channels that are also available as HD channels in the normal interval.

Some of the higher numbered channels are radio channels, but not all.

I would say it's OK to disregard the numbers over 999.

OK, thanks. sub, can you add some insight into where these very high channel numbers seem to be coming from?

These are probably the numbers the broadcaster is suggesting for the channels using LCN descriptors in the stream (would need to see a npvr.log after a scan to be 100% sure). Their own set top boxes may not use these though - often boxes use a proprietary system for provisioning channels etc, which may use entirely different channel lineups, restricted to channels you pay for (which may also include factors like whether pay extra for HD versions of channel, or just SD channels etc).

In the case of 24Nord, they seem to have three versions of the channel. One HD, two SD. There maybe something that differentiates the SD versions. Sometimes they have localised adverts/news for certain cities, but the rest of the content remaining the same.

I'll have to check with our upstream. But, if you have DVB-S off of Astra then you may already be able to use the data.

Hi Robert
Is there any reason why I am getting hardly any EPG beyond 13 June for BBC2, ITV1 and Channel 4 (BBC1, Film4 and Channel 5 appear to be ok)
I tried Freeview - Carlton and VirginMedia - Digital but they both give the same result.

Not sure if this provides any useful info..

I am on DVB-C with cable from Canal Digital, do you want a channel list?

Sure; I will need to see how many channels are already in the pool of available stations and we can see what we can do from there.
