I have looked at it to find some useful response, but I really can't figure out what these numbers mean. On the TV and the HDHomeRun TV app the channel numbers are "normal", even though they eventually on the TVs and in NPVR end with channel 892. Optional and encrypted channels are in the lower segment (at least some of them).
Actually - looking at them - it seems to be SD versions of some channels that are also available as HD channels in the normal interval.
Some of the higher numbered channels are radio channels, but not all.
I would say it's OK to disregard the numbers over 999.
