According to the OTA EPG on PBS1 (BBC-A) mux, the End Of The World takes place around 1am on 24th October 2012 - no further program info after then.
I have reloaded the EPG twice this morning but no change!
Anybody else getting this problem?

Just slowly dawned on me that I updated DVBGuide to version 0.96 on Tuesday and since then there has been no epg updates - empty epg and update left a totally empty guide.
There was plenty of info in the xml file produced by DVBGuide, but something is not liked by NPVR.
Reverted to 0.95 and a full 8 day guide returned.

Does this mean that I won't need the 200 tins of Spam and 100 tins of beans that I have panic bought?

I've got some post xmltv scripts that I run on the data that DVBGuide grabs for me (before it goes into NPVR) and they all failed horribly with the new version. I just reverted to the old version rather than investigate why, but something has obviously changed enough to screw things up.

I remember when going to .95 all the channel ID's changed, and I had to do the whole channel mapping from scratch, could something similar have happened with 0.96 too?

BTW Graham, why would you need a lot of canned food if the world was about to go under? If you have plans to go to another planet I'd like to book a seat on your spaceship...

A venerable village feast in the Mendips....

Wait a sec... I though deep-fried Spam was a US County Fair-Only specialty, along with deep-fried butter on a stick... Big Grin

Spam fritters (shallow fried) are a "known quantity" over here, at least they were 30 years ago.

Of course the health conscious can now purchase "Span Lite", I shit you not.
