Looking for Live TV help

In that command prompt it looks like the recording service has started ok. If you then try and use Live TV in NextPVR, what happens? Post the logs.

Still get unable to communicate with recording service.

You've still got that "nrecord.exe RUN" running in the command prompt right?

You'll also need to post the nrecord.log.

If you run it as a service, does it now run? If not, post the nrecord.log and I'll take a look.

From that he still has got the recording service in the default program files but it look like he has NextPVR installed in F:\NPVR

Thanks I have live TV working now while the command prompt is running, I have one last issue. Live TV playback seems to be a little choppy, almost laggy.

Did you previously have NextPVR installed in F:\NPVR? Its not clear looking at screenshots and logs - they give mixed messages. Somehow this is a factor in your service not starting correctly.

I got it working now, my only problem now is live tv is choppy and a little laggy

That'll most likely be related to the decoders you're using.

It's weird, but before I was getting the recording service error, playback was smooth as can be with cyberlink decoders on. Now all decoders give a laggy output.
