Yes you might as welll clear data so they are in sync. Hopefully sub can clear up the EPG load issue.

Martin, there are too many ambiguities for me - yes what? Do you mean yes I should run the manual NPVR EPG update and then clear the Kodi EPG data so it reloads the new stuff from NPVR. Or do you mean just clear the Kodi EPG so that it is in sync with the bad data already in NPVR. Or did your "yes" mean submit the logs after doing the updates as I asked originally but also clear the Kodi EPG? I am not stupid but feel very stupid at the moment.

I mean keep Kodi in sync with whatever data you have in NextPVR good or bad. If you refresh NextPVR you need to refresh Kodi that is always the case.
Basically I only want to see logs (in the Kodi forum on your freeze post) when you aren't getting updates after LiveTV or playing are recording. Martin

Well, great except that clearing the EPG data in Kodi has caused it to refuse to complete the EPG importation from NPVR. Stuck at "importing guide from clients: 5% ITV", which is a channel that I know has bad data in the NPVR EPG. Stuck there for over 10 minutes now and usually takes under a minute. This has not happened before and I am once again unsure if this should be reported in this NPVR thread or in a thread in the Kodi section. And how should I get out of it? When Kodi freezes i usually invoke Task Manager.

If there is bad data in the EPG even on NextPVR I guess uploading the npvr.db3 file here is a good start.

I loaded your database into Kodi without any issues. If you restart the NPVR recording service and then start Kodi what happens?
