Just upgraded to 12b, and OSD on the MVP is no longer transparent, even though it's checked in config. The picture darkens under the OSD, very annoying.

Previously when "Transparent OSD (slower)" was checked in config, the OSD only showed the timeline bar at the top, and the program info at the bottom, but did not darken the picture with the gray box containing these items. Now it does, transparent or not makes no difference.

Great release sub. The sound issues I had with PVR250 and Live TV are now fixed. I did have to use the Hauppauge utility to select a source before I could get any sound before, but it's all good now!

I am a US user who has been using GB-PVR for most of the last year. I ran through the upgrade process to this newer version, and everything seemed fine. I clicked "Update EPG", and it eventually said that I had a bad configuration. I logged into my Zap2it account, and it seemed fine as well. I reconfigured the guide data in GB-PVR, and it still did not work. I downgraded the installation version to a backup of what I was running before, and it still would not update the EPG.

Are there any known Zap2it issues today? Do I have a bad install? I have just under a week to fix my system before I am out of EPG data.

I should be more patient. Zap2it is working fine for now.

Follow-up on my transparency issue. I posted earlier that on the MVP since installing this update, I don't get "Fully transparent OSD" even though it's checked. The OSD darkens the picture. Well, it turns out that it's on recorded shows it does that; on LiveTV it works correctly, showing the timeline bar at the top and program info at the bottom, without the gray over the rest of the picture. Recorded shows are still darkened by the OSD. Does it help anybody sort out the problem by LiveTV vs. recorded? Also, the recorded show doesn;t have to be from the Recordings page, it does this in Video Library as well.

I must admit, I'd previously discounted your report because it seemed to be working, but obviously I only tested live tv....Anyway, I've now fixed this for video playback and in the next release it'll work the way it does for live tv.

It wasnt new to this release. Its been like this since I introduce the MVP fully transparent option.

Good deal, sub, I appreciate it, but I swear to you it was working in both before. I've skipped a couple of updates, so I couldn't tell you what version I was at before this, though. I appreciate your responding to it. Thanks.
