Maybe some bugs are caused by older versions of third party components like 1.0.85 instead of SQLite 1.0.112.0

Own components like NextPVR.exe should have 4.2.6 only for information purpose.

Providing a (*) in place of absolute number makes compiler increase the number by one every time you build.
Maybe even revision can be current date(0 if not).

The current versions of NextPVR (version 5), use much more recent versions of these 3rd party components, and in a way that is much easier for me to to update them regularly.

I'll look into setting version numbers in these extra NextPVR dlls for version 5 builds.

Great to hear. But still there is concern about:

Windows builds of NextPVR version 5 include the nextpvr.exe client, which uses slimdx. This dll is several years old, but it is the most recent version available, and does the job the well. I have no concerns about using this.

There is a replacement client coming later in the year, which uses different types of technologies (no slimdx or sharpdx).
