Recurring recording major issues

Ridiculous

While I'm paying for the storage and backups, for the free app I give away, and support for free...I'll continue to impose limits on how much a user can upload, to help keep a lid on the costs.

Just zip it up, and put it on onedrive or google drive or similar, and supply the url.

When it comes to support, I'm gonna support people regardless of if they've donated or not. I was just letting you know why there are limits on things - I've got to keep the costs under control, because the project makes very little money each year.

Ah, they're 'Conflict alternative airing' recordings. Long story, but these types of recordings are not associated with the main recurring recording. They were created some time in the past, when you had it scheduled, but it couldn't record it as part of the regular recurring recording (tuner in use for something else), so it created these 'alterative airing' recordings.

It's not going to create new ones (now the recurring recording is gone), but you're probably going to need to manually delete the ones that are pending.

These are kind of special case recording.

It has been ongoing for a few weeks. Are you stating that if I delete all in the upcoming recording list, it will not repopulate?

They were created when you had a recurring recording for 'CBS Evening News With Norah O'Donnell' (and no tuner available). Now that you've removed the 'CBS Evening News With Norah O'Donnell' recurring recording, no more are being created.

You do have like two dozen of them pending you'll need to delete though

You can stop this from happening in future by setting <LookForConflictAlternatives>false</LookForConflictAlternatives> in the config.xml. Then it wont look for alternative airings if you don't have a tuner available.

I deleted all scheduled instances. I will get back to you either way in a few days with update.
