I believe this is the ATI card that is readily available:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?...1099928443

I would also be willing to buy the card and install it in my computer, but, someone may need to walk me through the rest of the process since I am a real novice with most computer networking issues. I believe I could recieve 3 or 4 stations over the air with the included antenna. I've considered buying this card anyway just to see what it might do on my system.

The people in the forums at http://www.htpcnews.com generally recomend the Fusion card. I've heard bad things about the ATI one. People call it the ATI HDTV Blunder

I just had a sales person at Micro Center tell me that they have received allot of returns on the ATI HD Wonder. The drivers seem to have version conflicts if they had other ATI video cards installed. If you do a clean install of the OS and the card it goes more smoothly. I mentioned the Fusion HD card and he was interested on where to find it, so I pointed him to the Internet.

Just to prevent support issues I would go with Fusion card for Beta Testing and Production.

The offer still stands on the machine but I would be more inclined to installing a Fusion HD card for the testing.

I would agree. I have heard more good things about the Fusion and more bad things about the ATI. Plus, for me at least since I run Win 2K Pro, the BDA driver in the ATI website is listed under the XP listing and not Win 2K.

Interesting, I'm hearing the opposite and am being told that only the ATI card is supported under MCE (not that it matters). How about the Avermedia A180? Buy.com has them for $80.

Not a lot of us actually have MCE...probably less than 50%, and the rest of us are running either XP or Win2k.
My vote goes for the Fusion. Most readily available, good reviews, works with all sorts of software, etc.
I can get 6 stations here. 3 each from the US and Canada. (nice to live close to the border).
You can never have enough tuners!

I just found a site that sells the US version of the Fusion card for those of you who are interested. They also have a USB HDTV card which is rather interesting. Here are the links.

That is a good price and as with the others that say they only support MCE they do have BDA drivers for the card. With the ATI and Fusion cards running at $150.00 street price this could be an option at only $80.00, but sometimes you do get what you pay for.
