First you really have to get rid of the jellfyfin addon or install it properly. It is really not helping performance

I don't see your attempt to play live tv in NextPVR and your test for iptvisimple was only a few minutes. You need to play for half an hour for a comparison test.

I thought you were running localhost is this on wifi?

Thanks, no I see there is a huge difference in what ffmpeg in Kodi is seeing.

Could you try streaming this channel as an extra? Coy and save this block into C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\extra.mjh.xml

Code:
<extras>
  <channel name="Sample mjh file">
    <command>c:/Program Files/NextPVR/Other/ffmpeg.exe</command>
    <args>-v panic -headers "X-Forwarded-For: 202.89.4.222" -headers "User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0+(Windows+NT+10.0;+Win64;+x64)+AppleWebKit/537.36+(KHTML,+like+Gecko)+Chrome/84.0.4147.105+Safari/537.36" -i http://i.mjh.nz/nz/tv.9.m3u8 -codec copy -f mpegts -</args>
  </channel>
</extras>

then from the NextPVR web Settings->Device click on extra-mjh don't copy a guide and then just add the channel that it find.

Try and stream the new channel in Kodi to see if it is better. I would be interested in seeing the Kodi log too.

Unfortunately you didn't post a Kodi debug log so I can't do a direct comparison. Does it help if you run timeshifted with a 1 or 2 second prebuffer?

Ok good. Playing the extra with ffmpeg doing the demxing gives exactly the same audio errors that I saw with NextPVR that I don't see Kodi is doing the demux.

Not much I can suggest now though. Maybe increase the size of the timeshift buffer to a large number and let it play for a while and save

C:\NextPVR TempRecording\live-Sample mjh file-*.ts after 10 minutes or so. Then if you upload to file to google drive, one drive or drop box we can see if it is valid.

when you say the timeshfit buffer you mean the "Minutes" next the the Live TV Buffer Directory, by default it was set to 20, ill set to 30 and run for a bit and upload the file somewhere
