Watching in-progress recording goes past end of recording

In Leia, there is solid square, half-solid square, or check mark which is maintained through sessions. In Matrix, it seems to "forget" the watched status when I restart Kodi (when I close Kodi the episode is checked/watched but when I reopen it is marked as unwatched). I thought this is a change in Matrix and what you were working on dealing with.

Ok I haven't used Leia for a year so I guess that is a Matrix issue.  When you toggle the option to show watched/unwatched/all does that work in Leia too?

Yes, the watched view toggle works for me and I get watched indicators.

I wonder if that is because of mysql. If you try from a portable install of Lea without mysql what do you see?

This seems to be the case in Leia.  Without MySQL, no watched indicators.  However, in Matrix I don't get watched indicators even when using MySQL.

Ok I posted about this this problem on slack.  Does the attached change work with both mysql and default on Matrix?

Playback works for both cases in Matrix (timeline stops growing and can play through to the end).  However, there is a strange effect where all the recordings are marked as partially watched and offer to resume at the very end of the recording when I go to play them?
