I see the the following blank drop down menu. I'm also including another screenshot of my provider's total list, I only see channels there, is that normal?

If there is nothing in that drop down, then you likely have no VOD.

FYI, when it comes to importing channels, there is no point in importing 24000 channels, most of which are garbage. It's just going make your system perform worse. You'd be much better off selectively importing the channels or channel groups you're genuinely interested in.

I'd delete the device (by holding the ctrl key, and clicking the deleted button that appears, then reimport from m3u or xc, and after it retrieves the channel list, click the 'filter by channel group' dropdown button at the top of the list. Untick the 'select all' at the top of the list, then just tick the groups you're really interested in (like USA Documentaries or UK Sport or whatever), then hit Save to save just those channels. Instead of having 24k channels of garbage, you'll end up with just a few hundred you're really likely to watch, and your system will perform better.

If you're not getting VOD with XC, then I'd suggest trying to import from M3U instead.

Thank you, I agree most is garbage, selecting just a few VOD groups was always my intentions. I'll try via m3u but will need XEEV first as my provider only offers XC. I already set it in XEEV so only 7 VOD is selected. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks again, much appreciated.

To be clear, that 24000 is probably channels (all sorts of random languages and countries).

The VOD items are separate, and often an additional 60k+ items.

Ok, I filtered out lots of VOD groups via XEEV and was able to get its own VOD m3u file, called M3U File (only VOD). I then imported in in NPVR and got the following result but I the filter by channel group won't expland and clicking save does nothing no matter how long I wait. Side note, when I import the same m3u file in Simple client it works and seems stable now compared to months ago when it would just crash as soon as I installed the addon. I might just use this solution for now, even though I prefer NPVR.

If you can't separate VOD from Live TV it probably is best not to use NextPVR for VOD.

I am guessing that XEEV is not providing a direct download link to to a file so NextPVR thinks it is a stream. The lack of logs as makes this a frustrating thread to try to support.

It doesn't matter to me if both are separated, I can deal with that myself. What I'm trying to accomplish isn't really conventional so I understand the frustration in trying to help. I really appreciate it though, I'll manage at this point no worries. I'll come back here if I ever succeed, just in case someone else is also looking for an all in one single interface.

I love Tivimate, it's just sad it has to be installed on little, cute and slow toys. My home entertainment doesn't stop at streaming.

Thank you

You're actually best to have them together. NextPVR is mainly interested in channels, and it treats VOD as a secondary thing that might come with the channels. So you kind of need channels in the same m3u.

As Martin suggested, you probably don't want to use xtream-editor. It's probably changing the VOD url structure, and it may no longer look like VOD to NextPVR.

When you go to the Settings->Devices page, click the IPTV device you imported, and click 'Update Channels'. At the end of the process it'd usually say something like "Done (542031 vod)" if it found any VOD streams. (then be sure to click 'Cancel' otherwise it'll import all the channels)
