Hi, here's the updated tuning file for cable operator Ziggo, The Netherlands.
All the other ones can be deleted as they are outdated.
Please update NextPVR with this file. Thanks!

I also tried to create a PostProcessing.sh file under LibreElec, but I don't get it work.
I only want to change the container from TS to MKV and to run Comskip after the recording is completed.

How to do this?
Is this correct?

#!/bin/bash
ffmpeg -y -i "$1" -vcodec copy -acodec copy -f matroska "$newfile" > dev/null
comskip --ini=/home/Comskip/comskip.ini "$1" > /dev/null

ofcourse the PostProcessing.sh has to be changed with chmod +x so it can be executed (777).
And the folder to put in under LibreElec is: /.kodi/addons/service.nextpvr/nextpvr-bin/data/scripts/

Can you open new threads for your posts. The first file would be used for SAT>IP I guess since that file wouldn't be used by Linux dvb devices I leave it to sub to decide how to handle that.

Comskip is weird in LibreELEC it is only installed by TVHeadend and not as a separate app or tool and they didn't want to change installation to be part of dvb-tools. Since no on asked I didn't add it to the nextpvr package. I will do that for the next release. Assuming you have the tvheadend package installed for now it will get installed.

Your script needs work for sure, you need to properly create the $newfile variable and if you want to create a custom comskip.ini you would most likely need the proper location. Until you figure out a custom ini you can just remove the --ini parameter. The if statement to filter channels seems wrong too. I don't help with scripts but make sure you test the .sh using ssh first.

Hi, okay, from now on I will use my own posts :-)

Yes, the tuning file is for SAT>IP indeed. I use it with LibreElec and it's located over here:
/.kodi/addons/service.nextpvr/nextpvr-bin/data/tuning/DVB-C/

In the latest version of LibreElec v12.0.0 I have an option in the Kodi NextPVR PVR client called 'Load Comskip'. That's why I asked.

I will try to create a script with SSH first, thanks.

In pvr.nextpvr the option is there to turn off comksip requests The default is to request the EDL file with each recording and this avoids the unnecessary call for most users who don't use comskip. Nothing else about comskip is automated by NextPVR itself.

Thanks for adding support for Comskip in the next release! Yes, for now I have tvheadend package installed.

I think I had NextPVR test server running on LibreElec last night but the disk I installed as data_disk failed after making two recordings!
I was running the test server on Windows to build up 6 months of "Recently Deleted" items  in npvr.db3 ready for the change to "Freesat(UK)" EPG on my actual NextPVR server.

The recurring-backup.xml from Windows imported without a problem into the LibreElec server. The recording-backup.xml will not import because of the file names. However I think a simple "Find & Replace" should make it so I can import existing Windows files into LibreElec! D:\ changes to /var/media/DATA_DISK. If all goes well I will try running the LibreElec server on my HP Microserver!!

Using such a complicated name in LE seems odd why not just use /storage/name like everything that they show,

If your disk was NTFS you should expect problems on Linux.

I am using the default LibreElec location which is /var/media. Any disk Sata or USB is mounted here. If you dont give the device a title such as "DATA_DISK" it will be mounted as the manufacturer's device such as "ST3250410AS". A link to any storage device will appear at Root in LibreElec File Manager.
