NextPVR won't stay enabled on Kodi Omega

You seem to be running the Nexus addon with Omega

Does /usr/lib/kodi/addons/pvr.nextpvr/addon.xml have this

<import addon="kodi.binary.instance.pvr" minversion="8.2.0" version="8.2.0"/>

because the addon should not even start with the higher API in Omega you are running, which is why I didn't think to check.

As for the bug with OTA ATSC that is Windows only sorry.  SD is still going to be a lot better.  Many of your stations don't seem to lock anyway so even with SD data the experience will be poor.

you are correct. it appears its not the correct version in the AUR. ive been looking all over for a binary option to update it. i tried to get the new client you made working but it wont install the zip repo.

Are you saying these instructions don't work https://github.com/kodi-pvr/pvr.nextpvr you will need to adjust it for Omega since Piers is the master now.

yeah those wont work for my system. kodi is run without a DE and is set up as its own system user. my directories for kodi are in /var/lib/kodi and kodi itself is run in its own userspace.

Did you change the git clone of xbmc to git clone --branch Omega and checkout Omega for pvr.nextpvr?
