Fo rizzle. That was funny. I could add support for MVP, but i won't have any way of testing it, that's why i was saying that. It might work, it might not, i just don't have any way of knowing. If it IS the same, then i guess i could add support and you can test it. The resolution shouldn't be any problem as the skin is the same resolution as what the default GBPVR skin was done in.

Thanx for the compliment also. Although i didn't design the actual original skin for xbmc (layout and artwork), it may has well be, since converting is pretty much doing the whole skin from scratch in the convergeance, except for using a lot of artwork (Even then, a good bit had to be photoshop'd/modified. It's generally the same though.)

As far as I understand it, the only trick with the MVP is that the resolution is halved or something... maybe just
1) opening the image in photoshop
2) reducing by 50%
3) restoring to the original size (therefore increasing 100%)
would give you an idea of what it would look like on an MVP If it's still readible by a human eye, it should work out great Big Grin
OFC, anyone knowing skinning and the MVP better could tell us if there's a better way to know...

I would ofc be very happy to test the skin on my MVP, as soon as I manage to snatch it back from my wife (maybe I should just go buy a second one, might be faster)

I don't think you need to get bogged down in the MVP details at the moment - for now it's probably simplest if you just work on the skin as you are doing, and once it is finished someone with an MVP can let you know how it looks.

It could well work right out of the box, as you are using TV-intended backgrounds, so the resolution should be fine. At the very worst, we could take advantage of the new GB-PVR version's ability to specify different MVP and Computer skins, and have a separate down-sampled version of the skin for the MVP if the main one requires too much horsepower.

Have fun!

here what my music 3 looks like when copying a cd with this skin, some things arent right yet (like the position of the page number, and its says "geebo" Smile), but you should get the idea (also its distorted, too lazy to load up photoshop i cropped it in paint).

this skins im working on only work with the latest versions of my plugins (since i have to edit the plugins to work with the skin), and all my skins will be at 856x480 and adjusted for overscan remember.

i think the only one of my that should work as is, is the onscreenkeyboard part (but im probably going to change that so the green little light shows up with capslock/shift is on).

dont you just love the popup box, its so pretty....

Yeah, i saw that and was like "Whoaah!!" that's lookin pretty. I haven't actually had time to do anything the past couple days, all my off time is playing MK-Monks for xbox. Man, i was a big MK lover back in the days. This is definitely a must play for any mk lover. all original mk1-2-3 characters are in it,all backgrounds are also in it, but rendered in 3d now as it's an adventure/quest game. And the graphx's are REALLY good. Anyway, sorry, i'll get back to it soon. Smile
