question Beyond tv works without us doing any of this stuff (adding, changing or moving files)

so my question is what program is in there that allows it to work without us having to do all this junk?

contra: hey if beyond tv is so great then why consider gb-pvr? also the software recorder can still be considered alpha quality, so be glad i'm letting you play with it. in future gb-pvr version it may be bundled, but we need to get it working for most people first.

yonu: i suspect you've got a corrupt database or something wierd going on. as a last ditch attempt have you tried uninstalling gb-pvr, cleaning out the whole gb-pvr folder, rebooting, checking the folder is empty, and then reinstalling?

i will try that but i was asking what program they use

not saying that THIS program sucked

i was simply asking so that i may use the program to make it easier
as i dont understand the things discussed here very well
i like GB-pvr is seems to do neatier things but playing tv is not working for me for now
possibly it mught be easier to get a better tv tuner?

i was looking at this would this solve all my problems?

hey with anything if you have the right hardware it works 100% the first time :-) we're just not lucky enough to have cool hardware. I have had no feedback on the WinTv Go, but it's worth a test :-)

yonu: yea, i have to admit that nothing has changed on the gb-pvr front, not the main app, nor the plugin. I'd double check disk-space, defrag, drivers, Windows Updates, ugh, time for windows' yaerly rebuild :-)
