NextEnd v5 trial release

I did post the update to the wiki just haven't got around to writing the announcement post. Can you bash into you Docker or not?

The script will be something like

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/app/runtimes/your_flavour dotnet /installdir/NextEnd.dll parameters

And you will need to edit the two json file, to point to /app

I haven't upgraded my docker yet it is versions back but the uptime for my Docker instance is 188 days.

Martin: Can you confirm that the wiki "Download Current Version" (4.0.8) is the latest version (for NextPVR v6)? The date on the NextEnd.exe file is from 5/10/2022.

I just upgraded to the latest NextEnd-4.0.8. Is there a way to test the installation other than seeing if it works during a sports recording?

If it is in Parallel Processing then it will run with every recording.  There should be something showing in the NextPVR logs

Previously, there was a NextEnd log. Is this still true or is everything in the nrecord log?

It is trickier getting it to run from a folder try unzipping it in the program folder an change your scripts

If it is 4.0.8 it is, v6 was in the making quite a while

I noticed there is no longer a NextEnd.deps.json file

It will probably need the deps file.  I am not home to check right now There would be more info if you didn't redirect stderr and stdout
