Just curious "Here's Jonny". Using the Cyberlink decoder are you able to set the de-interlacing to Force Bob without getting screen corruption ? I have a Geforce 6200 and I'm wondering if it's my drivers or maybe something on my Windows installation.

Thanks,

Kyle

No updates for 10 days - anything anybody can add to this problem? I've just come across the same corruption issue with upgrading my video card to a Nvidia 6600 (and with a 6200 I was loaned). I can confirm:

- ONLY with MPEG2 decoding with Nvidia DVD decoder using VMR9 with Hardware Acceleration enabled.
- As stated it only shows with a non-default (i.e. not 1,1,0,0) Aspect ratio.
- Later/earlier Display drivers make no difference.
- Only in GB-PVR, there is no problem at all with Zoomplayer, Media Player Classic, WMP10.
- Selecting Default or Nvidia in Decoder config field makes no difference.
- I upgraded from an old Nvidia MX4000 card which does not support the on-card Purevideo features - it did not show this problem.

I have to conclude it is a problem within GB-PVR. Thereis potentially a bug within the decoder that only manifests itself within GB-PVR but others eem to get problem with Cyberlink as well (but that might also be using Purevideo features).
Unfortuately the picture quality is so good using the problem configuration that I'm going to have to use an external player (recording in GB-PVR seems fine) until there is some resolution here - I'll keep trying later Decoder/GB-PVR versions as they arereleased in hope this gets resolved.
Happy to help solve this in any way I can.

Here's Jonny Wrote:I run on my monitor @ 1280x1024..

I've attached an image for what happens !!

Any ideas ???

I am having the exact same problem. I have a Hauppage PVR-150 card running in 800x600 resolution, yet I still get that weird junk on the screen when changing the aspect ratios. I never experienced this problem with older versions of GB-PVR.

I'm not sure if it is the cause of this garbage you're seeing, but you could see if deleting the following registry keys helps: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\devnx\ProcAmp_xxx
